Notification of Reorganization of Agency Activities & Services
As of 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, February 16, 2025, all FCRA direct hire personnel, with the exception of designated personnel responsible for mission-critical functions, core leadership and/or specially designated programs, will be placed on administrative leave globally.
Concurrently, FCRA is beginning to implement a Reduction-in-Force that will affect approximately 1,250 FCRA personnel with duty stations in the United States and abroad.
Remaining personnel will retain access to Agency systems and to diplomatic and other resources in order to complete all outstanding claims and transfer all relevant materials pertaining to investigations to the relevant authorities.
As of February 17, 2025, it will no longer be possible to submit a new claim on the FCRA website or to call the hotline. Approved claimants will still be able to communicate directly with their assigned field agent to complete reimbursement.
